Milwaukee Advantage Program (MAP) Award for Midwest Students

The Milwaukee Advantage Program (MAP) Award provides financial support to students who are residents of Midwest states attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The program offers a $1,000 annual award to eligible students from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and South Dakota. The award is renewable annually for students who maintain good academic standing and are continuously enrolled full-time with no withdrawals or breaks between consecutive fall and spring semesters. With a total anticipated award of $4,000 over the full term, this scholarship supports both new freshman and transfer students across all university departments. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application.
