About this opportunity
The Máire Herbert Prize in Celtic Civilisation is offered by the Department of Early and Medieval Irish at University College Cork. This prize, in honour of Professor Máire Herbert, former Head of Early and Medieval Irish at UCC, is awarded annually to the third-year Celtic Civilisation student who has achieved the highest overall mark in second year. The prize recognizes academic excellence in Celtic Civilisation studies and provides €100 in book tokens to the recipient. Applicants must be current UCC students enrolled in the Celtic Civilisation program who have completed their second year of study.
