Mitsubishi Development Mining Pathway Scholarship

The Mitsubishi Development Mining Pathway Scholarship is designed to support domestic students pursuing undergraduate engineering degrees with a focus on mining engineering at The University of Queensland. Established in 2024 and maintained by an annual gift from Mitsubishi Development Pty Ltd, this scholarship provides financial support to commencing students enrolled full-time in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or dual engineering programs. The scholarship specifically targets students majoring in Mining Engineering within Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering disciplines. With a value of $10,000 per annum for up to 5 years, the scholarship aims to support academically excellent students who demonstrate a strong interest in mining engineering and possess leadership potential. Recipients must not hold another similar scholarship and are selected based on academic achievements, strength of interest in mining engineering, personal qualities including leadership potential, and other factors relevant to future success in the engineering profession.
