ML Van Vliet Scholarship

The ML Van Vliet Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year in the field of physical education or recreation in the Bachelor of Kinesiology or the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism degree. Selection is based on academic standing. The scholarship was endowed by friends and former University athletes in honor of Dr ML Van Vliet, Professor Emeritus, former Dean of the Faculty, and architect of the present Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta.
