About this opportunity

The MLC School Teacher Education Scholarship is a $9,000 postgraduate scholarship offered by the University of Sydney in partnership with MLC School. It supports students enrolled full-time in the final year of the Master of Teaching (Secondary) program who are undertaking an internship at MLC School. The scholarship provides a unique opportunity for education students to gain professional experience at a leading Independent School within the Greater Sydney area. Recipients will participate in onboarding, spend one day a week at the School during Terms 1 and 2, and undertake an unpaid internship during Term 3. They will also receive mentorship and participate in academic, pastoral, and co-curricular activities. Eligible applicants must be studying secondary education in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or English, and must hold a valid Working with Children Check. Selection is based on a personal statement, academic referee reports, professional experience reports, and interviews for shortlisted candidates.
