Modern Métis Woman University Scholarship

Modern Métis Woman provides yearly University Scholarships to qualifying self-identified Métis women attending universities in Canada or the United States. The scholarship program aims to further assist Métis identifying women with their education and emphasize the importance of empowered women. Founded by Carleigh Milburn, the charity seeks to establish the need for further education within the unique identification of the Modern Métis Woman. The scholarship is funded through investments made by the founding member, generating returns that support ongoing Canadian undergraduate scholarships. One award per year is offered to support Métis women pursuing full-time university studies.
