About this opportunity
This Scholarship is for high-achieving Indigenous Australians who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate or graduate business degree at Monash. This Scholarship will cover the full course fees for the duration of your degree. The scholarship is specifically designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are commencing an undergraduate or graduate (coursework) degree in the Faculty of Business and Economics at a Monash campus in Australia.
To be eligible, applicants must be Australian citizens of Indigenous Australian background from one or more educational disadvantage groups, including low income, regional or remote area, disability or medical condition, difficult circumstances, underrepresented school, or low socioeconomic status area. Applicants must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
Two scholarships are offered annually, with selection based on academic achievement and need. Where possible, one scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student and one to a graduate student. To retain the scholarship, recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance as determined by the Monash Business School.
