Moorabool Wind Farm Scholarships (Higher Education)

The Moorabool Wind Farm Scholarships are offered to students at Federation University Australia to support their higher education studies. These scholarships are valued at $3,000 each and are available to both new and continuing domestic students enrolled in Bachelor, Honours, or Postgraduate programs at the Mt Helen campus in Ballarat. The scholarships are funded by the Moorabool Wind Farm, which consists of 104 wind turbines located approximately 27km south east of Ballarat and produces up to 312 MW of renewable energy annually. Applicants must have a permanent address in, or have relocated for study in, the local area of the Moorabool Wind Farm project. Six scholarships are available each year, demonstrating the wind farm's commitment to supporting local students pursuing higher education in the region.
