Moorabool Wind Farm TAFE Scholarships

The Moorabool Wind Farm TAFE Scholarships support students pursuing TAFE studies in the Ballarat area. The scholarship program is funded by the Moorabool Wind Farm, which consists of 104 wind turbines producing up to 312 MW of renewable energy annually, enough to power approximately 221,500 Victorian homes. These scholarships provide financial assistance to domestic students enrolled in Certificate or Diploma level TAFE programs at Federation University Australia. Applicants must have a permanent address in, or have relocated for study in, the local area of the Moorabool Wind Farm project. The program offers 12 scholarships annually, each valued at $1,000, to support both new and continuing students pursuing vocational education in the region. This initiative reflects the wind farm's commitment to supporting local education and community development.
