Māori PhD Scholarship on Machine Learning for Emergency Medical Dispatch

This doctoral scholarship is funded by an MBIE Endeavour Smart Idea Fund and has been established to encourage Māori students to conduct doctoral-level research in machine learning applications for emergency medical dispatch systems. The scholarship provides comprehensive funding support for three years of full-time doctoral study. Recipients will pursue research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer science, data science, software engineering, or statistics, with a focus on emergency medical dispatch applications. The scholarship is designed to support Māori students in achieving advanced research degrees in STEM fields while contributing to innovative solutions in emergency healthcare systems.
