Mosaic Technologies Scholarship

Mosaic Technologies takes great pride in helping equip the next generation to make the world a better place through higher education financial support. The scholarship program has been supporting students since 1999 and has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to local graduating seniors committed to continuing their education in a 2-year or 4-year program. Scholarships of at least $2,500 will be awarded based on an applicant's essay and community involvement. An additional $1,000 will be awarded to winning applicants who reside in the cooperative area, bringing their total scholarship amount to $3,500. The essay should address the following: Imagine a community that embraces broadband and Wi-Fi technology. Describe the 'Smart Town' and how it utilizes a broadband network. What role does it play within the community and how does it affect the way of life? What challenges are met with solutions because of broadband access and capabilities? Students must be high school seniors graduating in 2026 planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 1, 2, or 4-year U.S. College or University in the fall of 2026.
