About This Opportunity

MUCF (Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society) provides state grants for projects that prevent and counteract racism and intolerance. The funding supports projects addressing various forms of intolerance including afrophobia, antisemitism, antigypsyism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, islamophobia, and racism against Sami people. Projects may aim to develop and disseminate knowledge, mobilize and strengthen capacity in the work against racism, or influence and change attitudes, norms, and structures in society using various methods. A special allocation of 2 million SEK is reserved for organizations representing one of Sweden's five national minorities (Jews, Sami, Sweden Finns, Roma, and Tornedalians). Projects must create long-term effects and cannot be used for regular operations, single events, trips, or camps unless they are part of a larger project context.
