About This Opportunity
The Mountain Training Cymru Bursary Scheme provides financial support to candidates in Wales who face barriers to participating in Mountain Training skills schemes or leadership award training and assessment courses. The bursary is specifically designed to increase participation from within underrepresented communities, such as those from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Each year, Mountain Training Cymru offers a limited number of bursaries to support candidates wishing to undertake skills scheme training or assessment courses, including reassessments, in a Mountain Training qualification scheme. The bursary can fund up to 50% of the course cost, to a maximum of £200, for courses taking place in Wales with an MTC approved provider. Note: The program is currently unavailable due to financial constraints.
