About This Opportunity

The Moya Crowe Memorial Scholarship was established to honor Moya Patricia Crowe's passion for supporting the education of Aboriginal People so they can take on leadership roles in their communities. For many years in her later life, Moya was actively involved with the Tranby National Indigenous Education Centre in Glebe. This scholarship is specifically designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in any undergraduate degree at Charles Sturt University. Eligible students can be studying online, on campus, or in mixed mode, and must be in any year of their undergraduate program. The scholarship provides approximately $7,000 in financial support for one year. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in their application. The scholarship aims to reduce financial barriers and enable Indigenous students to focus on their studies while maintaining their connection to community leadership and development.
