MPRU Thesis Scholarship

The MPRU Thesis Scholarship provides financial support to students enrolled in thesis papers at masters level and higher offered by the School of Psychology at the University of Waikato. Priority is given to Māori students whose research is of direct relevance to The Māori & Psychology Research Unit (MPRU) and MPRU staff. The scholarship aims to support postgraduate research in psychology with a focus on Māori perspectives and research priorities. This funding opportunity helps students complete their thesis work while contributing to research that aligns with MPRU's mission and priorities. The scholarship recognizes the importance of culturally relevant research in psychology and aims to increase Māori participation in postgraduate psychological research.
