About this opportunity

The MRC Partnership Grant supports exciting and ambitious partnerships between research teams carrying out novel collaborative activities within the remit of the Medical Research Council. These partnerships aim to transform understanding of human health and causes and mechanisms of disease, accelerate diagnosis, advance treatment, and prevent human illness. The funding supports collaborative activities such as networking and partnership activities, infrastructure support, platform activities, training and capacity building, and pump-priming projects. Partnerships must be led by researchers employed by eligible UK research organisations, with international collaboration welcomed through project co-lead arrangements. The grant covers 80% of full economic costs and 100% of permitted exceptions, with funding available for up to five years. This is a rolling opportunity with no closing date, and applications are processed continuously.
