MRes Biomedical Research Bursary

The MRes Biomedical Research Bursary provides financial support to students commencing the MRes Biomedical Research programme at Imperial College London. This bursary offers £2,000 towards the tuition fee rate for one successful applicant in the 2026/2027 academic year. The bursary is available to both Home and Overseas students who have received and accepted an offer for the programme and fulfilled all offer criteria. Applicants must submit a statement addressing three key areas: motivation for pursuing further studies in science, contribution and ambitions in the field, and professional trajectory goals. The application process involves submitting responses to three questions covering academic experience, research approaches, and how the programme will help achieve career ambitions. Each question carries equal weight and allows a maximum of 1300 characters. Applications are reviewed by a panel after an initial eligibility check.
