Mrs. Pratima Niranjan Shah Scholarship

The Mrs. Pratima Niranjan Shah Scholarship supports graduate students at Eastern Illinois University who plan to work in India after graduation. Recipients must be admitted to a graduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrate experience with and knowledge of Asian cultures, politics, and religions. Applicants are required to submit a 750-word essay outlining their plans to work in India upon graduation, as well as a statement about their experience with Asian cultures. This award is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall semester, providing financial support for graduate students with strong academic records and a commitment to working in India.
