MSc Academic Potential Scholarships

The MSc Academic Potential Scholarships are available for applicants with a First-Class Honours level or equivalent in their undergraduate qualification who demonstrate strong academic potential. The scholarship specifically welcomes applications from Women and Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds, as well as candidates interested in discipline-hopping to Materials Science. Four awards of £10,000 each are available for the 2026/2027 academic year. The scholarship is available to both home and overseas students enrolling in the MSc in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering program at Imperial College London on a full-time basis. No separate application is required; suitability is determined by the admissions tutor, and qualifying candidates are notified directly.
