About this opportunity
The MSc Immunology Scholarship for students of Black heritage is offered by Imperial College London to support students of Black heritage pursuing postgraduate studies in immunology. This scholarship is specifically designed for home-fee paying applicants who identify as belonging to Black or Black British ethnic groups (Caribbean, African, Mixed White and Black Caribbean, Mixed White and Black African, or Other Black background). The scholarship covers full tuition fees at the Home rate (£15,500), provides a maintenance stipend at the UKRI London rate, and includes access to a department laptop. The scholarship is awarded through a competitive process that includes an initial application to the Presidential Scholarship for Students of Black Heritage, followed by departmental assessment and interview. Successful candidates will be required to submit a personal statement explaining how the scholarship would benefit their studies, help achieve their academic goals, and how their education would benefit their community or society, as well as highlighting their proudest achievements academically and personally.
