About this opportunity
The Illinois Space Grant Consortium (ILSGC) Multiple Undergraduate Research Projects Grants are designed to fund undergraduate research programs in aerospace, physics, astronomy, cosmology, Earth system science, and other interdisciplinary space-related science or engineering fields at ILSGC institutions. The program should involve multiple students, and the majority of the funding will be used to pay them. The grants are available to faculty members or research scientists at all ILSGC institutions. Emphasis will be placed on hands-on activities and projects in areas of interest to NASA. Funding requests up to $40,000 will be considered. Grants must be matched at least one-to-one with funds from non-federal sources. The program runs for the period April 10, 2026 through April 9, 2027.
