MultiSci MRC Doctoral Training Programme Studentship

The MultiSci MRC Doctoral Training Programme Studentship supports doctoral research across multiple scientific disciplines at Imperial College London. The programme provides comprehensive funding for both MRes and PhD studies, covering tuition fees at UKRI level and providing an annual stipend at the UKRI 'Inside London' rate. The studentship is designed to foster interdisciplinary research training across a wide range of departments including bioengineering, medicine, computing, chemistry, physics, and public health. Successful candidates will be registered for an MRes in the first year before progressing to PhD registration. The programme offers 8 awards for the 2025/2026 academic year and is open to both home and international students. For international students, the MultiSci team works with host departments to negotiate coverage of international-level tuition fees, though this is not guaranteed and represents a negotiated arrangement rather than automatic coverage.
