Muriel Shortreed Scholarship in Nutrition and Food Sciences

The Muriel Shortreed Scholarship in Nutrition and Food Sciences is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the Integrated Dietetic Internship component of the Bachelor of Science Nutrition and Food Sciences (Dietetics Specialization) degree program at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. Preference will be given to a student who has not received a major award in the same year. This scholarship is funded through an endowment established by Muriel Shortreed, a graduate of the Household Economics program at the University of Alberta.
