About this opportunity
The Murray S Klamkin Prize in Elementary Geometry is awarded annually to an undergraduate student with superior academic achievement in elementary geometry courses at the University of Alberta. The prize commemorates the eightieth birthday of Professor Emeritus Murray S Klamkin, former Chair of the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing in MATH 241, MATH 243, MATH 341, or MATH 343, provided the student's academic record is otherwise satisfactory in the year of the award. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application and do not need to submit a separate application.
