The Murray Thomas Gibson Memorial Scholarships in Mathematics are awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement in the honors Mathematics program at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing. The scholarship was endowed by the late Robert Nelson Gibson, a former student in the Department of Mathematics, in memory of his father, Murray Thomas Gibson.
