MySydney Accommodation Scholarship

The MySydney Accommodation Scholarship is an accommodation scholarship for currently enrolled MySydney Scholarship recipients at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides 60% per year towards the costs of accommodation at University of Sydney owned residences for the published full-time duration of the recipient's undergraduate degree up to a maximum total duration of 4 years full-time study. The purpose of the MySydney Program and the MySydney Accommodation Scholarship is to address the educational disadvantage experienced by people living in areas affected by socio-economic disadvantage, by facilitating and supporting their participation in University of Sydney courses. The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the residence by the University and is not awarded as a cash payment to the recipient. All other remaining costs of the accommodation must be paid by the student. Recipients will be awarded the scholarship based on a personal statement and must continue to meet progression requirements for their course, remain enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney, and reside at the University owned residence. The scholarship can be held whilst studying part time and is transferable to another undergraduate degree at the University of Sydney.
