About This Opportunity
Each year, the NAACP offers need-based and merit scholarships to outstanding and qualified students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees as part of their Inspire Initiatives program. Through the generosity of donors, the NAACP advances efforts to ensure equity in educational opportunity that prepares students for success in school, work, and life. The scholarships range in award amount, academic interests, and age eligibility. Whether applicants are graduating high school seniors or early in their professional careers, the NAACP provides financial opportunities and recognition to assist with collegiate and post-educational endeavors. The program includes multiple scholarship opportunities such as the Agnes Jones Jackson Scholarship, Building Beautiful Futures Scholarship, Empowering a Better Tomorrow Scholarship, James Weldon Johnson Scholarship, Hubertus W. V. Willems Scholarship, Ed Dwight Scholarship, NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship, and the Dearmont-Dyas Scholarship. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S., possess a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 system, and be a member of the NAACP. All listed scholarships are non-renewable opportunities.
