About this opportunity
One or more scholarships of at least $2,000 each are awarded to academically outstanding graduate students in the Masters of Nursing Nurse Practitioner program with a demonstrated interest in nursing with marginalized populations including, but not limited to: low income, street involved, mental health, LGBTQ. Preference is given to students with demonstrated financial need. Approval of the recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the School of Nursing. The minimum requirement for consideration is normally an A- average. Awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units and recipients must be full-time graduate students.
