About This Opportunity

The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers unique research opportunities to highly-talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or at a NASA-affiliated research institute. These one- to three-year fellowships are competitive and are designed to advance NASA's missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology. This specific opportunity focuses on basic and applied research in Artificial Intelligence Planning and Scheduling, and autonomous systems with applications to spacecraft autonomy, as well as multi-agent systems, sensorwebs, and integrated autonomous systems including perception, deliberation, and execution. Also sub specialty in automated and semi-automated scheduling systems for spacecraft operations. The fellowship is located at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, focusing on Technology Development research.
