NASN Elmer Hawkins Affiliate Membership Recruitment Scholarship

The NASN Elmer Hawkins Affiliate Membership Recruitment Scholarship is designed to promote membership recruitment by NASN affiliates. Established in 2001 and later combined with the NASN Affiliate Membership Award in 2014, this scholarship honors Mr. Elmer Hawkins, a National Education Association director who was instrumental in helping school nurses form an affiliate organization. Eligible affiliates are determined by achieving a set percentage of annual membership growth, and winners are selected through a random drawing process.
