About This Opportunity

NASSM (North American Society for Sport Management) is actively involved in support and assisting professionals working in the fields of sport, leisure and recreation. The purpose of the North American Society for Sport Management is to promote, stimulate, and encourage study, research, scholarly writing, and professional development in the area of sport management - both theoretical and applied aspects. The NASSM Scholarship in Recreation & Sport Management created at the University of Regina supports a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to foster a direct focus in supporting sport management studies. The scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in Kinesiology and Health Studies programs at the University of Regina, with preference given to graduate students specializing in sport and recreation management. Recipients must demonstrate evidence of relevant publications and/or presentations, as well as professional development related to recreation and/or sport management.
