National Industry PhD Program

The National Industry PhD Program is designed for outstanding PhD candidates to undertake research projects co-designed by university and industry partners. Under appropriate academic and industry supervision, PhD candidates work at the interface of research and industry, gaining the ability to obtain skills to commercialise their research. The program provides comprehensive funding including the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) stipend scholarship plus a stipend top-up for the duration of the program. Candidates will undertake co-designed research projects with university and industry participation, developing expertise in translating research outcomes into practical applications.
