National Lottery Awards for All England – Environment

The National Lottery Community Fund Original Source

About This Opportunity

The climate and nature emergency affects us all, but local action can make a real difference. This funding programme supports community-led projects that improve the environment and help people connect with and enjoy nature where they live. The programme funds projects that meet one of two priorities: help people connect with and care for nature in their area, or make a positive difference to the environment. The funding can be used to start a new activity or continue an existing one, help your organisation adapt to new challenges, or run one-off events that have a clear environmental benefit. Awards range from £300 to £20,000 and decisions are typically made within 16 weeks. This programme is specifically designed for community organizations in England working on environmental projects. It is part of the National Lottery Awards for All funding scheme but specifically focused on environmental and nature-based initiatives. Applicants should note that they cannot apply if they already have an existing Awards for All grant. For more general community project funding, applicants should refer to the standard National Lottery Awards for All England programme.
