About This Opportunity

National Lottery Reaching Communities England provides grants of £20,000 or more for community organisations, charities and not-for-profit companies serving communities in England. The program supports places, people or communities experiencing poverty, disadvantage or discrimination, and helps people and communities shape decisions that affect their lives. Projects must achieve one of four key missions: helping communities come together through inclusive places and activities, supporting children and young people to thrive by developing positive social and emotional skills, helping communities be healthier by addressing health inequalities and preventing poor health, or promoting environmental sustainability through climate engagement and improving access to natural spaces. Projects can run for up to 5 years and must be led by the communities they serve, with strong community involvement in design, development and delivery. Funding can cover activity costs, organisational development, core running costs, and purchasing or refurbishing buildings.
