About this opportunity
The National Recognition Program Scholarship is a competitive scholarship offered by Mississippi State University for students who have been recognized by the College Board as part of the National Recognition Program. The scholarship provides $40,000 over four years ($10,000 per year) to entering first-time freshmen who maintain academic standards. The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters provided the student maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment (12 credit hours per semester at MSU). Non-resident students may also receive a Non-Resident Tuition Scholarship to cover 100% of the non-resident portion of tuition. Students must have a 9th-11th grade GPA of 3.0 or higher and must submit both the General Scholarship Application and the College Board National Recognition Program Scholarship Application in the scholarship portal, including a scanned copy or image of their certificate received from the College Board. The National Recognition Scholarship Package may not be combined with other major scholarship packages including Freshman Academic Scholarship Packages, National Merit Semi-Finalist or Finalist Scholarship Packages, or the Presidential Endowed Scholarship Package.
