National Research Grant Poland 2025 - Role of Gut Microbiota in MASLD and Metabolic Disorders

The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation announces a research grant competition focused on the role of gut microbiota in the pathogenesis of Metabolic dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) and its association with civilization diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. The foundation seeks innovative projects that will contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the interactions between gut microbiota and metabolic function, and enable identification of potential biomarkers or new therapeutic strategies. This national grant is specifically designed for researchers in Poland working on microbiota-related health research. The Scientific Council of Biocodex Microbiota Foundation will evaluate applications based on the applicant's track record, scientific value, originality, project feasibility, and budget. Only one winning research project will be selected for this grant.
