About This Opportunity

Canadian Hearing Services proudly offers scholarships to support Deaf and hard of hearing students, helping to break down financial barriers and cover the additional costs associated with tuition, residence, accommodations, and educational resources in a post-secondary learning environment. Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate students, including mature students, attending accredited post-secondary institutions within or outside of Canada. Recipients remain eligible for the same level of funding for up to four consecutive years. The scholarships are open to Canadian residents who are at least 17 years old and Deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing. The highest-ranking scholarship recipient will be recognized in honour of David C. Onley, a former Board member who advocated for accessibility and inclusivity.
