National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program

The NSF GRFP is for outstanding students pursuing full-time, research-based master's and doctoral degrees. The fellowship program was created in 1952 to help ensure the quality and strength of science and engineering fields. The program provides funding for three years of support for graduate-level research. This prestigious fellowship recognizes and supports exceptional graduate students in research-based degree programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields or STEM education.
