National University Scholarship

The National University Scholarship is designed to reward academic excellence in secondary school studies and provide assistance with costs related to tertiary studies at the Australian National University. The scholarship offers a stipend of $12,500 per annum paid in equal instalments at the beginning of each semester for up to three years for a coursework program without Honours or four years for an undergraduate program with Honours (either embedded Honours or a plus-one Honours program). Funding for this Award has been provided by the University. All eligible students who obtain the required ATAR score or equivalent will be made an offer. The scholarship is available to domestic students commencing undergraduate degree programs at ANU who achieve an ATAR of 99.90 or above without adjustment factors, or equivalent. Students are automatically considered for the award when they apply for admission through the ANU Admission Scholarship and Accommodation Application System or list ANU as a top 3 preference through the University Admissions Centre (UAC).
