About this opportunity
Nature Regina awards an annual Graduate Student Grant of $1500 to support a University of Regina graduate student conducting research that contributes to the conservation of the natural world and biological diversity. Usually only one grant is awarded each year. Projects that further the understanding of ecological relationships in the natural environment in southern Saskatchewan are preferred candidates for the grant. Submissions should indicate the ecological need and the urgency of the project, and demonstrate an appropriate use of funds. Successful applicants are expected to make an oral presentation at one of the Society's monthly meetings (September – May) upon completion or near-completion of the research project.
