NCTE High School Teacher of Excellence Award

The NCTE High School Teacher of Excellence Award is presented by the National Council of Teachers of English Secondary Section to recognize and celebrate exceptional high school classroom teachers. This affiliate-level award allows state, provincial, regional, and local NCTE affiliates to nominate one outstanding high school teacher annually. Each recipient is recognized with a certificate at the Secondary Section Luncheon during the NCTE Annual Convention, with reserved seating and a booklet highlighting comments from letters of recommendation. The award honors teachers who demonstrate excellent practices and make significant contributions in their classrooms.
