Neil and Harold Asmussen Scholarship

The Neil and Harold Asmussen Scholarship was established in 2022 in honor of Neil Asmussen and his father Harold. Neil was born in 1941 to Harold and Emma Asmussen and raised on the family cattle ranch and wheat farm. Both Neil and his father were conscientious farmers who operated the farm for many years. Neil's infectious grin and quick laugh were a regular presence at community events. This scholarship supports graduates of Mansfield High School pursuing further education. The scholarship is available to high school seniors from Mansfield, Washington who are pursuing further education.
