Neil Hibbard Memorial Scholarship

The Neil Hibbard Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement who is entering the third year of the honors or specialization Environmental Earth Sciences or Geology program at the University of Alberta. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing and a demonstrated interest in, and aptitude for, the study of Physical Earth Science by their performance in courses including, but not limited to, EAS 224, EAS 225 and EAS 234. This scholarship is endowed by friends and family of Neil Hibbard to support outstanding students in the earth sciences. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship portal.
