Nelle L. Fischer Scholarship

The Nelle L. Fischer Scholarship was created by Nelle L. Fischer to support students from her family's hometown in Zaleski, Ohio. Although she lived much of her adult life in New York City, upon her passing, she wanted to ensure support for her community. This scholarship is designed to defray the educational expenses for college or university of a Vinton County student with proven musical ability in piano, voice, or a musical instrument in orchestra or band. Candidates must be graduating seniors of Vinton County High School and residents of Vinton County, preferably Zaleski, Ohio, who plan to attend an educational institution in the United States.
