About This Opportunity

The Nels, Anna and Evelyn Dahl Nursing Education Fund Award is a scholarship established through the bequest of Evelyn Dahl-Esplin to support nursing education for Indigenous students in Saskatchewan. The award is designed to assist Saskatchewan residents of Aboriginal ancestry, including status or non-status Indian or Métis individuals, who are pursuing post-secondary education in nursing. Applicants should have an academic average of at least 70% or be mature students with a commitment to succeed. The scholarship recipient must provide written confirmation of enrollment from their post-secondary institution by December 15th in the year of the award, or the award will be forfeited to the runner-up. The selection process is conducted by the Saskatoon Community Foundation, which administers the award on behalf of the donor's estate. This award reflects the Dahl family's commitment to supporting Indigenous students in their pursuit of nursing education and healthcare careers.
