Nelson Cherkauer Lasca Legacy Scholarship

The Nelson Cherkauer Lasca Legacy Scholarship provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Geosciences Department at UW-Milwaukee for field camp or research activities. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and are engaged in relevant field work and/or research. Preference is given to students with a history of employment. Awards vary up to $5,000 per student. Applications are typically accepted in January and scholarships are paid during the following academic year. There is a single common application for geosciences students to complete in order to be considered for all geosciences scholarships and awards.
