New Horizons for Women Trust: Hine Kahukura Scholarships

The New Horizons for Women Trust offers three types of awards: Education, Research, and Specific Purpose. These awards are one-off grants to help with study and/or living expenses. The Education Scholarship is available for women studying at Level 3 or above who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. Targeted Education awards are available for refugee and/or migrant women, women studying STEM subjects at degree level, women studying for trade qualifications, solo parents who were teen mothers now studying at degree level, women studying business at foundation or certificate level, Pasifika women studying Early Childhood Education, women undertaking environmental studies, and women studying in non-traditional fields. The Research Scholarship supports women conducting research that benefits women and/or girls in New Zealand. The Specific Purpose Scholarship is for women studying or developing an initiative with a specific purpose. Recipients cannot have previously received a New Horizons for Women Trust scholarship at the same level of study.
