New Student Orientation Awards (5)

The New Student Orientation Awards consist of five awards granted to students involved with New Student Orientation at UPEI. These awards were created to support Incoming Students and Student Leaders participating in New Student Orientation at University of Prince Edward Island. The award categories include Most Outstanding Leader, as well as individual awards for School Spirit, Care of Others, Leadership, and Attendance. The Most Outstanding Leader award is selected by peer vote with recommendations from Point People (Captains) to recognize a Student Leader. The awards for School Spirit, Care of Others, and Leadership are selected by peer vote with recommendations from Student Leaders to award Incoming Students through a random draw system where each vote equals one chance. The Attendance award is selected based on attendance records taken by Student Leaders at NSO events to award an Incoming Student. Students are not able to win more than one award in the same year.
