About this opportunity
The New Zealand International School Leaver Grants are designed to recruit and support undergraduate international students who have completed their secondary education in New Zealand to study at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The grants provide $2,000 toward tuition fees for eligible international students beginning their studies from 2026. This funding opportunity requires no application process, as eligible students automatically receive the grant upon enrollment. Recipients must be international students who have completed at least one full year (Year 13) at a secondary school within New Zealand and must gain University Entrance and admission to their program of study. The grant is valid for one year and can be held in conjunction with other awards. Payment is made approximately five weeks after the start of the trimester, once the recipient is fully enrolled in a full-year program of at least 120 points.
