About This Opportunity

The Ngarara Willim Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship provides assistance to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander postgraduate by coursework students at RMIT University. The scholarship is valued at approximately $3,000 and is awarded for one year. To be eligible, applicants must be Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled full-time (or part-time with exceptional circumstances) in a postgraduate by coursework program at RMIT with at least one year remaining. Applicants must be registered with the Ngarara Willim Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and demonstrate participation in their local, indigenous, and/or university community. The scholarship requires applicants to be passionate about their study and future career, and demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage through criteria such as receiving government-tested low income benefits, having a Centrelink Health Care Card, having a long-term medical condition or disability that impacts study, experiencing difficult family or social circumstances, or relocating from interstate or rural/regional Victoria to study at RMIT.
